SelfLore

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms apply to the SelfLore app, made by Çağdaş Çetin, an independent developer in Türkiye who publishes as Cyronidas (“I”, “me”). By using the app, you agree to them. If you downloaded SelfLore from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

1. Using the app

You may use SelfLore on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. Please don’t copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, or use it for anything illegal.

You need to be at least 13 to use SelfLore. If you’re under 18, please use it with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.

The app, its name and its design belong to me. These terms let you use the app, but don’t give you ownership of it.

2. AI-generated steps

Steps written by the AI are suggestions. They can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. They aren’t professional advice: not medical, health, fitness, nutrition, mental-health, financial or legal advice. Use your own judgment, and talk to a qualified professional before acting on a goal that affects your health, money or safety.

Don’t use the AI feature to create harmful, hateful or illegal content. Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy also applies to it.

3. Your goals

What you write in SelfLore is yours, and I don’t claim any rights to it or to the steps made for it. It’s stored on your phone, and in the cloud if you turn on sync (see the Privacy Policy). Without sync, you’re responsible for keeping backups: I can’t recover goals that are lost because the app was deleted or the phone was lost or reset.

Sync needs a sign-in with Apple or Google and is part of SelfLore Pro. If Pro ends, sync pauses and your goals stay on your phones. You can delete your account and its cloud data anytime in Settings.

4. SelfLore Pro

SelfLore is free to use with some limits. SelfLore Pro is a subscription, paid monthly or yearly, that removes the free limits on goals and gives a much larger monthly allowance of AI plans. A fair-use monthly limit on AI plans still applies.

5. Changes and availability

I may update the app, change or remove features, or adjust the free limits. AI steps need an internet connection and depend on Google’s service, so they may sometimes be unavailable.

6. Feedback

If you send me ideas or suggestions, I may use them to improve SelfLore, without owing you anything for them.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. My total liability is limited to the amount you paid for SelfLore Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for intent, gross negligence or harm to life or health, or rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can’t be waived.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, I’ll update this page and the date above. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

If something goes wrong, please email me first. Most problems can be sorted out that way.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes go to the courts of Türkiye. If you use SelfLore as a consumer outside Türkiye, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, including any right to go to your local courts.

If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
